Welcome Krishna!

We are excited to announce that Krishna Bharadwaj has joined the Chan Lab!

Brief bio: Krishna is from Mumbai, India. He graduated with an Four Year Bachelor of Science (Research) degree with a major in Chemistry and minor in Biology from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore in 2025. At IISc, he worked with Prof. Mrinmoy De on the synthesis and formulation of lipid nanoparticles for mRNA delivery and peptide-photosensitizer coacervates for photodynamic therapy. Krishna aims to novel develop chemical tools for characterizing and imaging biological systems. Outside of lab, he likes to travel, hike, take photographs and hit the gym.

Krishna is currently a chemical biology student pursuing his PhD in chemistry, and is excited to have joined the Chan lab!
