In this work, we present a 19F MRI platform that simultaneously reports analyte activity and local pH within a single measurement, addressing a key limitation of current activity-based sensing probes. Because probe activation and analyte reactivity can both vary with pH, conventional signals may not accurately reflect analyte abundance. Using a modular reporter, this approach generates a pH-dependent 19F chemical-shift barcode after probe activation. Applied to the H2O2​-responsive probe F-pHOx, the platform enabled quantitative interpretation of H2O2 activity across a broad physiological pH range and performed effectively in an ex-vivo mouse stomach model. Overall, this strategy improves the accuracy of chemical imaging in complex, pH-heterogeneous biological environments!
