Welcome Sarah!

We are excited to announce that Sarah Gardner has joined the lab!

Brief Bio: Sarah graduated from the University of Iowa with a BS in Biochemistry. With the support of institutional and national fellowships, her undergraduate research focused on the role of a calcium channel (Cav1.4) in the first visual synapse and how it could be implicated in the treatment of some retinal diseases. Sarah now plans to pursue her PhD in Biochemistry with the Chan lab at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
